We were approached to build an online platform for the wholesale of medicines and other medical goods, A first of its kind digital platform catering to buyers and sellers across India and spread across various age groups. The challenge was to create an easy-to-use design for people older than 40 years, keeping it modern yet easy to understand and navigate for those who aren’t tech-savvy.
The design process kicked off by mapping the user needs, both from the buyer and seller side to make it super smooth and convenient for anyone coming to the platform. User mapping and flow are the key starters for any UX project. Since the app functionalities are different for buyers and sellers, the segregation happens at the beginning and the entire experience follows.
We created a clean and easy on the eyes design that enables users to spend enough time on the platform to place their orders and compare new market entries. We focused on creating a very user-centric mobile design that gives access to all the features and actions that were available on the desktop version while maintaining easy navigation for the target users without compromise on the UI design.
